Exhausted And Encouraged

DSCF3577

It’s Friday night. I’m exhausted for a variety of reasons but am also encouraged! At first glance, exhausted and encouraged seem to be an odd combination.

I received an email from a wonderful friend today who has been called and guided by God’s Holy Spirit to begin writing prayers for children in her church.

What an awemazing blessing! Her spirit of joy regarding the writing of these prayers is in a word…wonderful.

It’s Friday night. I’m exhausted. I am also so thankful for friends who serve when and where they are called! May God continue to guide and bless her writing.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”

– John 15: 7

  1. And the encouraged becomes the encourager! One more reason why I love the gift of writing and the gift of writing friends.

    • Wow! What a wonderful sentence!! “And the encouraged becomes the encourager!” I can visualize you writing more about that! Thank you so much for all you do for our band of writers and your faithful encouragement!

      • Thanks, Rick! I love to use words to build people up, which I also believe is a form of praise to God. I can’t imagine a world without spoken and written language. In His image, we were made to communicate, so in my thinking, why not make the communication positive, helpful, and gentle. You do that for your readers. I’m so glad to call you friend.

      • Your use of words is a powerful ministry! Your friendship and encouragement remain an awemazing blessing in my life! Thank you!
