Bless Sings

There are times when spell chek makes me laugh! Like this morning, before I had even finished my first 246 oz cup of coffee. I was adding a comment to a blog I follow and although not quite awake, it seemed like spell chek wanted to make the word blessings, bless sings.

Kinda nice!

I know all of us are not gifted singers. One of the reasons I enjoy the loud praise and worship music in my church is that I can sing along and no one can hear me! Well, God hears me and knowing He hears my attempt at musical praise is what really matters!

Perhaps God wants us to sing our blessings today!

Perhaps God wants us to be blessed by listening to some music!

Perhaps God wants us to share some music on our walk of faith today!

I know right now, if I put on my headphones and turn up the volume to Hezekiah Walker’s song, Every Praise, I will be inspired….and awake! For anyone not familiar with this song, I suggest downloading the live version!

It’s early. I’m tired and more tired than usual these days but God reminds us that in each day, we may bless and be blessed. Let us sing our thanks!

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.”

– Psalm 100: 1-2

Too funny! We sing that song at my church and I’m not too big a fan of it! Lol! It’s a great message, don’t get me wrong, it just keeps going and going and going and going! Lol! I guess that IS what worship will be like in heaven! 😄

    • If I remember, you lead your praise and worship music….you are right, Every Praise is kinda like the energizer bunny of songs! I almost find it to be like a musical meditation and love the enthusiasm of the live version! How cool to think about what the music in heaven will be! Thank you for being here and for blessing so many people with your walk of faith!

  4. Great encouragement for today, Rick, and OK, so now you have me singing one of my favorites! And whenever I need a little pick-me-up I tune in to watch the flash mob version on YouTube…Every praise is to our God, every word of worship in one accord, every praise, every praise is to our God… Now you’ve made me want to dance!
