It’s been a difficult and challenging week. I just now got around to replying to the awesome comments on my last post. Thank you all so much for taking the time to read and share my writing ministry. I have always believed that comments “complete” my posts in such wonderful ways and I remain committed to always answer each one. Humbled and thankful by you and for you.
Recently, my readership has expanded. I’m not one to look at blog stats often…have always felt if what I write touches one heart, a blessing was created. Not sure why there seems to be a “jump” in new readers but I thank you. Thank you for being here and sharing this site as we continue to discover and share God’s love and grace.
Mid-day today, I almost left work. I felt sick. I was tempted to go home. And what would I do there? I would feel sick. I talked with God mid-day and always try to start my day with a prayer asking God that my work glorify Him. Was I so sick that I really I had to go home? Nope. I worked to the end of my shift…I think that glorified God…not giving in…not giving up. God doesn’t give up on us.
Now at home, I’ve been talking about God about guiding me to a scripture to share this evening and listening to music. Playing now, a song from the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles.
“Praise the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, you are very great; you are cloaked with splendor and majesty. He wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent and he lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters. He makes the clouds his chariot and rides on the wings of the wind.”
– Psalm 104: 1-3
Blessings for your evening. Walk outside with me and look at the heavens stretched out like a tent by our mystical and miraculous God.
