Prayer Places

Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. After he dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray.”

– Matthew 14: 22-23

The above verse follows the scriptures of Jesus feeding the crowds with the loaves of bread and fish.

I don’t often think of Jesus being alone.

So many scriptures of him surrounded by people…his messages…his healings and all of his travels.

I am thankful for the verse above as it reminds us that we can find a place to pray. It might not be a mountainside. Actually, it can be anywhere. My prayer is for us to talk with God about finding those special prayer places.

Thank you for being here and for sharing God’s love and grace as a gentle witness to those in need.

  1. Hello Rick! I thought it funny that the Lord had you post this as He had me reblog this last night!

  2. Good morning, Rick. I have one special place to pray–especially for long talks; otherwise, I just talk to our Father wherever I am.
