Only So Many Days

Some of the pics of people shopping were kind of scary!

My prayer for us is to not get caught up in the retail holiday and to focus on our blessings each day. It is a wonderful  time of year to begin inviting people to church.

It’s a time to reflect on the year and also look to the year ahead. Some of the most awemazing scriptures will be the topics of sermon messages this month.

I am so thankful for each of you! It’s wonderful to join you in discovering and sharing grace and being a gentle witness to those in need.

We should submit our reason to the truths of faith with the humility and simplicity of a child.”

Black Friday is crazy now. I remember going with my mom as a girl when only Christmas stuff was on sale, not really tvs and stereos. There was maybe 5 people in line at 9 am. It’s such a scheme now. I don’t think you get a single thing cheaper. Anyway, best to be snuggled st home listening and singing Christmas music. Have a great weekend.

Amen Rick!! People can be not so thankful as soon as they leave those tables, can’t they!!

  3. I’m far away from those Black Friday crowds reading and reflecting on this wonderful devotion you posted. I loved it and it’s message was priceless. Thank you Rick, our dear gentle witness for reminding us of the important things.

I think it is a scam too, ask anyone who works in those stores, but I think some people enjoy the experience, and that, more than the great deals (which turn out to be not great at all), is what lures them. And as you said, there are the scary ones too.. Interesting topic and quote.
